Features of Paintings

Top quality: I use only the finest oil-painting materials to create my images on stretched canvas, canvas on board or masonite. Visit the "Gallery" page for images and descriptions. I include a page with the painting with advice about how to keep it looking its best.

Exclusive: Each painting you order is an original copyrighted work. There is only one.

Ready to frame: Your painting is shipped stretched and ready to frame or, if on canvas, hang as is. I do.

Vivid Colours: Every effort has been made to make the hues on this site as close as possible to the ones in the originals, but they may not be exact. As well, your monitor affects the hues, so there might be a very slight variation in hue between the original and what is pictured here. That aside, the hues tend to be more vivid on the actual work, especially if your painting is especially lit with picture lights; it's not for nothing that galleries use those!

Exciting News for Canadian Business Owners!

Did you know that Canadian tax law allows business owners to purchase and write off original Canadian art in its entirety? The acquisition of original Canadian art is included in the capital cost allowance for all Canadian businesses, providing the artist was a Canadian citizen when creating the work and the work of art is an original worth a minimum of $200.00. Canadian art acquired by businesses for display in an office may be depreciated on a declining-balance-basis even though it may depreciate at a much slower rate, and may even appreciate. The special capital cost allowance claim for Canadian art is intended to further the dissemination of Canadian art, as well as to support Canadian artists.
